Ottawa Group’s submitted recommendations on the Expansion of the Clinical Trial Registry and Results Data Bank.
In the process of the implementation of the
FDAAA,
the NIH and
FDA
organized the
Public Meeting on Expansion of the Clinical Trial Registry and Results Data Bank,
on 20th April 2009, in Washington.
Public was invited to submit their written comments and to participate in a discussion following the presentations of the Registry’s expansion and creation of the results databank.

Ottawa group dialogue on principles of public disclosure of trial results – open meeting is scheduled for Sunday, 3 May from in Atlanta Georgia, during the SCT Annual meeting.
The meeting will be in two parts: from 15:00-17:00 (3-5 PM) in the Cottonwood room B and from 17:15- 19:00 (5:15 to 7PM) in the Cottonwood room A.

Ottawa group submitted the recommendations for the evaluation of the Declaration of Helsinki to both
World Medical Association (WMA) and
World Association of Medical Editors (WAME).

Ottawa Group dialogue on principles of registration of trial results -
open meeting is scheduled for Friday 27 October in Dublin from 11:00- 15:30,
and can be found on the
Cochrane Colloquium Web site.
Ottawa Group members
discussed the reporting of results and addressed some of unfinished issues of
the OS 2 on principles of operationalisation of trial registration. The

Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), held a meeting on clinical trial results reporting in Ottawa.
The meeting was called PROCTOR, an acronym for the Public Reporting Of Clinical Trials Outcomes and Results.
